Cabinet Joint is an online, factory-authorized reseller of custom-made ready-to-assemble cabinets made by Conestoga Wood Specialties. I had worked with the folks at Cabinet Joint to create the last version of their website, which was very successful. But after a few years of gaining data on how customers were using the site, we knew we could make the overall user experience – and conversion rates even better.

From a design perspective, we kept some visual link to the old site through colors and some design elements, but we made the page layouts much more dynamic and mobile-friendly. From a content strategy perspective, we simplified some parts of the site, and expanded other areas. We added videos to help explain the different ways to request an estimate, get general pricing, etc.
